Constitution & By-Laws
This page contains the EnCouncil Constitution and By-Laws. The Constitution defines the role of EnCouncil within the School of Engineering. This document outlines general principles of membership, conduct, officer roles, voting, meetings, and finances. The By-Laws are a more specific document that state the duties of committees, dutied officers, and executive board members. Additionally, the By-Laws state the order and rules of voting and meetings.
EnCouncil’s Parliamentarian is responsible for having a copy of both of these documents on hand during all general body meetings. Their job is to make sure that the rules in these documents are followed. Additionally, if any questions arise regarding voting or appointment of officers, it is the parliamentarian’s job to resolve them. The current parliamentarian of EnCouncil is Wesley Campbell.
The Constitution and By-Laws are currently under review and adjustments will be previewed at an upcoming EnCouncil meeting. Voting Members will vote on the matters at the next general body meeting.
